What to expect when you contact GFS
All financial reviews with Giblin Financial Services Limited are offered with no obligation. If nothing else it will kick-start your thoughts on your finances and your plans to better understand your financial options.
Our opening meeting can take place in person or on a video call and will typically take between 60 and 90 minutes.
It is based around a fact find, which establishes your key financial details such as your income, your outgoings, your assets and your liabilities. We listen to your story and collect your relevant information in a conversational and relaxed way, to help us to understand your financial circumstances.
It can be helpful to bring along a recent payslip as we can identify if you have any benefits being paid through your payroll e.g. a pension, income protection, health insurance etc. Should you have existing pension plans, life cover polices and investments, please bring recent statements of these along and we can review them for you.
In some cases, there may be better value alternatives available on the market, however, if we believe that your existing plans represent good value, we will advise you to keep them in place.
It is not crucial to bring in details of your bank statements or bills – a good estimate will help as a starting point. As we complete your fact find together, we can discuss what is important to you financially and any ambitions you have for the future.
We can agree on your main financial need areas and a deliverable time frame for us to research good value solutions and agree a follow-up meeting. At this meeting, we will present our solutions for you and discuss how they can meet your financial goals and fit in to your budget. At this stage, you can instruct us to proceed with your chosen strategy or take home our research for further consideration.
We will handle all of the paperwork for you.
